Chimalli

Description

Chimalli is the prince of Manzana Kingdom. He is still a kid so he didn't really do much other than play around Manzana Village. He always helped collect food though. The people of Manzana are experts in healing sicknesses or wounds. Manzana Kingdom ended up getting attacked by the mysterious witch soon after Saguaro Village. They tried to fight back just like Saguaro, but failed too. King Zoma and Queen Malinalli were shocked to find out that the healing powers do not work against the sickness spread by the witch. Chimalli's powers are also still weak since he is young. His parents told him to run away to find safety and possibly help, but he refused to because he didn't want to leave his family behind. Since he didn't listen, Zoma held the monsters back as much as he could to give Malinalli a chance to get Chimalli as far away as possible. She tells her son the same thing, to find help before she returns to continue to aid the war. Chimalli cries and listens to his mom. After running for a while, the environment changes and he ends up in the Oak Forest, close to the entrance to Manzana Jungle. He collapses against a tree from exhaustion and he stays there, falling asleep through the cold night.

In the early Morning, Chimalli wakes up a little disoriented. He sits up and looks around at his surroundings as he remembers what had happened. He starts to cry all over again. After a bit, he gets interrupted, a bit startled by someone's presence. He sees Bradley approaching him slowly and asking if he is okay. Chimalli is a bit afraid at first, but Bradley gives him a fruit to eat. Bradley was carrying a basket. It seems he was collecting food to bring back somewhere. Chimalli starts to trust Bradley, he likes how nice he is and the fact that he helped his hunger pains. When Bradley offers him to come back to a safe home with him, Chimalli accepts and immediately climbs onto Bradley's back like he used to with his dad. This startles and confuses Bradley, but he regains his balance and begins walking back home with Chimalli on his back.

Chimalli is shy and hardly ever talks. He usually uses signals with his hands to tell people things or just straight up demonstrates it. You can also tell how he is feeling or thinking based off his body language.

Important Relationships

Marmalade, Clementine, Canon

Chimalli is not that close to these three. They only occassionally see him around Bradley or in Judith's workshop and he starts to hide whenever they try to greet him.

Simon

Chimalli has interacted with Simon sometimes since he goes to gather food with Simon and Bradley. He still isn't that close to him either, though. Simon refrains from pranking Chimalli since he is small, and also doesn't want to embarass or humiliate him since he obviously struggles to communicate often.

Bradley

Chimalli is the closest to Bradley since he is his hero. Chimalli moved into Bradley's home after he was brought here. Chimalli likes to stay with Bradley as much as he can. Whenever he gets nervous, he holds onto Bradley's sleeve or hides behind him. He likes recieving presents from Bradley, especially the warm clothes he makes for him for bedtime. Chimalli feels safe going to Bradley whenever he gets any nightmares too.

Judith

If Chimalli isn't with Bradley, then he is with Judith in her workshop. He helps pass her things quickly or getting more supplies from outside if needed. It took a while for him to get used to being separated from Bradley at first, but he started to actually like being with Judith.

King Zoma

King Zoma is Chimalli's father. Zoma taught him how to do most of the outside work like hunting or gardening. Chimalli used to come with him by clinging onto his father's back. He would occassionally do some work himself if Zoma allowed him to.

Queen Malinalli

Queen Malinalli is Chimalli's mother. She used to train him on his healing powers. Malinalli was basically the main doctor of the village since she had the best healing powers in the entire kingdom. Chimalli used to watch her heal patients. He always enjoyed how gentle she was, and Bradley's personality reminds him of her often.
